Meet the Team
Simon Moshe
Simon Moshe is a seasoned hotel renovation executive with over 25 years of experience leading high-impact projects across the United States and internationally. As a former chief estimator, head of purchasing, and second-in-command at Interserv LP (1999-2015)—a leading hospitality renovation firm—Simon was instrumental in scaling the company’s annual revenue from $10 million to over $100 million annually.
Simon is best known for being a pioneer in a unique, direct-sourcing model that bypasses traditional middlemen by procuring hotel furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) directly from top-tier manufacturers in the Far East. This innovation consistently delivered substantial savings to clients without compromising quality—especially critical in post-9/11 recovery efforts and in large-scale, budget-sensitive redevelopments.
His portfolio includes nationally recognized projects such as the Hilton Ground Zero NYC (2004), Grand Hyatt Washington DC (2001–2002), and Disneyland’s Magic, Wonder, and Dreams Hotels in Anaheim, CA (2009–2011). He has advised owners, developers, and design teams on projects ranging from boutique renovations to flagship resort transformations in markets including NYC, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Denver, Honolulu, Scottsdale, and Seattle.
Since 2017, Simon has operated independently as a trusted partner to hotel owners and design firms, helping them navigate procurement, budgeting, and project execution with clarity and precision. His deep industry relationships and data-driven approach make him a valuable asset to firms seeking strategic value creation through real estate repositioning and operational upgrades.
Amit Yonay
Amit Yonay is a seasoned entrepreneur and strategic dealmaker with expertise spanning commercial real estate, oil and gas, international trade, and entertainment infrastructure. With a sharp eye for undervalued assets, Amit has led major transactions in multifamily, retail, and office properties across California and throughout the US.
His investment approach focuses on identifying overlooked or distressed opportunities where his unique insight and operational acumen can unlock value. This mindset also drives his involvement in Direct Source Procurements International to produce optimal results.
Amit is also a partner in Pacifica Studio Partners, a subsidiary of Pacifica Ventures, a pioneering cost-effective, rapid soundstage development firm utilizing proprietary global technology. With 15 studio projects under current development worldwide and deep ties to major film studios and streamers. The company aims to become the leading global studio developer and operator within five years.
He also owns Global Hardwood & Supplies, a top-tier flooring company in Southern California, with direct manufacturer relationships and locations across LA, Ventura, and Orange Counties. Here too, the key competitive advantage revolves around low cost quality products by directly sourcing from the manufacturers.
Earlier in his career, Amit served as Chairman of XTL Biopharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: XTLB) and InterCure Ltd., successfully steering both companies through turnaround efforts. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Binghamton University and an MBA in Finance and International Business from Tel Aviv University.
Rebecca (Rivkie) Lafer
Rebecca (Rivkie) Lafer brings extensive commercial real estate and business development expertise to Direct Source Procurements International. After earning her degree in Early Childhood Education from the Blitstein Teachers' Institute, Rivkie transitioned into commercial finance in 2013 as a loan originator with Greystone & Co., one of the nation's leading providers of commercial mortgages and real estate finance products.
At Greystone, Rivkie specialized in FHA financing for skilled nursing facilities and multifamily properties, where she developed deep expertise in hospitality and commercial real estate sectors. Known for her exceptional attention to detail and client-focused approach, she became recognized as a "matchmaker" with an extensive network in healthcare and real estate, expertly evaluating client needs and facilitating strategic business connections.
In 2018, Rivkie founded Lafer Consulting Inc., a personal concierge consulting firm serving business and real estate investors. Her comprehensive understanding of commercial real estate financing, combined with her talent for building relationships and managing complex projects, makes her invaluable in navigating the unique procurement requirements of hospitality and commercial properties.
Rivkie's expertise in commercial real estate transactions, project management, and client relationship building ensures that Direct Source Procurements International delivers high-quality FF&E solutions while maintaining budget constraints and meeting critical timelines.
