Meet The Team
Decades of hospitality, finance, and manufacturing experience.
DSPI is directed by seasoned professionals in FF&E procurement, with a shared focus on quality, budget, and timeline.
Simon Moshe
Founder & Principal
Simon has spent more than 25 years leading hotel renovation programs across the United States and abroad. Before founding DSPI he spent 16 years at Interserv LP, a hospitality renovation firm, rising to Chief Estimator and Head of Purchasing and helping grow the company from roughly $10 million to over $100 million in annual revenue.
It was at Interserv that Simon began bypassing traditional purchasing agents and buying furniture, fixtures, and equipment straight from manufacturers in the Far East — a model that held up under pressure during the budget-constrained rebuilds of the post-9/11 years and has anchored his approach ever since.
His project history includes the Hilton at Ground Zero in New York, the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C., and the trio of Disneyland Resort hotels in Anaheim. He has since advised owners, developers, and design teams on renovations ranging from boutique properties to flagship resorts in markets including New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Denver, Honolulu, Scottsdale, and Seattle. Simon has operated independently since 2017, guiding clients through procurement, budgeting, and execution.
Amit Yonay
Principal
Amit brings a background in commercial real estate, energy, international trade, and entertainment infrastructure, with a track record of identifying undervalued multifamily, retail, and office assets across California and beyond. That same instinct for overlooked value carries into his work at DSPI.
He is also a partner at Pacifica Studio Partners, part of Pacifica Ventures, which develops soundstages quickly and cost-effectively using proprietary construction methods, and he owns Global Hardwood & Supplies, a Southern California flooring company built on the same direct-from-manufacturer model DSPI applies to FF&E.
Earlier in his career Amit chaired XTL Biopharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: XTLB) and InterCure Ltd. through turnarounds. He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Binghamton University and an MBA in Finance and International Business from Tel Aviv University.
Rebecca (Rivkie) Lafer
Business Development
Rivkie moved into commercial finance in 2013 as a loan originator with Greystone & Co., where she specialized in FHA financing for skilled nursing facilities and multifamily properties and built deep familiarity with hospitality and commercial real estate.
In 2018 she founded Lafer Consulting Inc., a concierge consulting practice for business and real estate investors, known for pairing careful attention to detail with a broad network across healthcare and real estate.
At DSPI, Rivkie manages client relationships and project logistics, helping keep procurement on budget and on schedule from first proposal through installation.
